At Saxelbye Manor Stud we have carefully chosen our mares with specific traits in mind.  All our mares:

• Have excellent temperaments making their youngstock easier to train.

• They are selected for excellent conformation ensuring youngstock have every chance of staying sound for a long and successful career.

• Have straight and correct movement, this also helps for long term soundness.

• Are themselves by proven sires and have good breeding lines.

• Have proven ridden performance.
